Words to the wise, indeed,David.

There seem to be so many ways society sucks the money out of our pockets. Yes, I understand we all have volition, our own will and abilities to .. direct that will , that green !! But: fuck ! I feel that black and brown brothers and sisters are preyed upon and more vulnerable ; not because we're not smart enough to make good choices (economic, in this case),rather.. we seem to be a targeted segment of the American financial fabric... We get dipped into this bullshit Hollywoodian notion of instant wealth and financial prowess.. and we're .. fucked. Fucked by American casino culture, fucked by all the betting companies out there as we enjoy our sports events and venues; fucked by the Cash-Your-Sorry-Ass-Public-School-Teacher-Salary-check here CashChecking joints;... and the list goes on... David: your writing - - - it's tone and it's very direct-ness , it's bluntness ... is humorous, yet full of pathos becasue it reflects some serious fucked-up economic realities of how class/culture/race become data points for American corporations. I'm heartbroken at the ease and smoothness ..of how seamless it can be ... or feels... to have one's hard-earned green ... become a commodity to be so easily targeted , captured, surrendered. .. Please write more on this topic and focus on : free will and how-in-the-fuck can we , black and brown brothers and sisters, help each other avoid these financial landmines. Does it really boil down to free will and the power of my "Yes" or my "No" ? .. It just feels so deliberate: big corporations want my money and they're fucking coming for it !! with fancy commercials with flashy , lush musical accompaniaments !

My dreams persist, therfore I ponder: writing my first opera, !Respiro!, finding lost relatives in Warsaw, opening my Mexican-Polish bakery in Detroit.
